We are delighted to announce that the Social World of Nottingham’s Green Spaces project received its official launch in the Arboretum Bandstand on Friday 17 May. The launch coincided with the second Annual Arboretum History Talk at which Dr Paul Elliot and Dr Rowena Edlin-White spoke about the Sherwood Forest Group of men and women, who had actively campaigned for the establishment of the Nottingham Arboretum in the 19th century. The Group consisted of writers, artists and radicals.
