Rehearsals have been under way for the specially commissioned community play ‘Breathing Spaces’ over the last two months, and now, with the first show less than two weeks away, it’s all hands to the pump.
With a brief to create one play that takes the audience on a journey across four different parks – and with a cast of just over twenty people – this has been a very demanding process for the cast and the support team. This weekend (July 2nd) saw us out and about in St. Mary’s Rest Garden and Victoria Park, which will be our third venue with the show taking place on July 17th at 4.30pm. It was a very long (and rather blustery) day for the cast who responded magnificently and we’re very confident that by the time the audience is in place we’ll have a colourful, lively and informative show ready.
We hope to see you there. After so much work by so many people all we need now is an audience.
